With 16+ years of experience in live and studio performances, Bruno has, as a main characteristic, the sensibility and skill of providing musical drum parts that work for the arrangements. Bruno is extremely versatile, he has toured around the globe playing multiple genres: in Pop/Rock; he’s performed with Angra’s guitarist Marcelo Barbosa, Latin Grammy Nominee Letrux and is the drummer of Orquestra Petrobrás Sinfônica, with whom he has toured with Brazilian stars Nando Reis, AnaVitória and Vanessa da Mata. In Jazz, he performed with John La Barbera, Brandon Coleman and Miami Sax Quartet; in Funk, Bruno is the leader of Funqquestra, that have featured greats like Carlos Malta, MARO and Sandra de Sá. ​In the studio, Bruno has recorded several albums for artists in different countries, totalling hundreds of thousands of streams. As a leader, his debut album “Ao Vivo no Clube do Choro”, was semi-finalist in the 26º Prêmio da Música Brasileira, the most prominent music award in Brazil.Bruno is experienced in Soul, Jazz, Pop/Rock and Brazilian/Latin rhythms and has great improvisation skills. He can record with both Pop and Jazz flavoured sonority - 18'' or 22'' bass drums and an array of cymbals from vintage to modern options. He can also record hand percussion such as tambourine, blocks and cowbell and will be happy to help you with the arrangement for both music and drum parts.Bruno prefers to work with charts or lead sheets, but audio files and written notes about the music are also welcomed!
