Professional session violinist and composer based in Buenos Aires, Damian Bolotin has performed and recorded with international artists such as Mercedes Sosa, Roberto Goyeneche, Luis Miguel, Ruben Blades, Joan Manuel Serrat, Leopoldo Federico, Arturo Sandoval and Yosuke Oda, amongst many other international orchestras as soloist. He has participated in soundtracks, films, operas and many international festivals around the world. Damian has been awarded with national prizes, Latin Grammys for his recordings and as Grant winner for the creation of the National Funds of the Arts.He has a great versatility across many genres, especially in popular music (tango, free jazz, klezmer, contemporary chamber music) and is skilled in working from different material formats, but prefers working from lead sheets.
