Our shared recording sessions are sight-reading sessions and we only work with musicians and orchestras that are skilled in this type of service. If your music is written and scored well, as well as being idiomatic, our orchestras will be able to play them and still allow for time to repeat certain passages.
Your session will be held over livestream, which means you can give feedback to the conductor/ orchestra (via your dedicated session Producer) in real time!
A=440Hz.
We record at 48kHz/24bit. Please make sure that your DAW's session is set at the correct sample rate for playback.
If you need to record on a different tuning or sample rate, just let us know in advance so everything is ready to go on the session day.
Yes, each musician has a pair of headphones to play over click tracks or pre-recorded audio tracks (tuned to A=440Hz). You can send these with your scores. We can also record with no click if that works best for your music.
We send you the Pro Tools session folder with all the takes recorded. In addition, you’ll receive a take sheet which contains information on each take (this is filled in by our music producer during your recording). This means that you (or the audio editor you hire) has a good amount of information to deliver a great edit. The audio files are in WAV format recorded at 48KHz/24bit. If you need a different sample rate/bit depth, let us know in advance so the studio can set up according to your preferences.
If you prefer, you can order our post-production service where we will edit, mix and master your track to be ready for all sorts of distribution (CD, digital, etc).
We aim for a 24 hour turnaround time and deliver files no later than 3 business days after the recording session. Our delivery time for the 4k video recording is within 10 business days.

We encourage composers to attend their sessions as it’s an unique and amazing experience! And we also allow experienced conductors to conduct their sessions. It's important though to be prepared with a translator depending on the location you wish to record.
For both attending and conducting your sessions, we require a minimum of a 1-hour long session. Please let us know in advance if you plan to attend, so that we can plan your visit accordingly.
Our orchestra musicians are paid union rates. Our affordable pricing works because of our shared session model; we book out the studios and staff for many hours, whilst customers only need to pay for the time they use.
We take this one step further in our revolutionary Membership, where we employ every one of our session artists and pay them monthly salaries!
We offer a full refund for cancelations which are requested more than 30 days before the session date.
