Is Production suitable for my needs?

If you need any type of assistance at any stage of your record creation journey, then the answer is a resounding yes! Whether you're just starting out in music production or looking to improve your existing projects, a Production session can provide with anything you need: from a chords chart, to an arrangement, to audio editing of all sorts, rough mixing, or any type of production advice or direction you might be looking to get.

What can I expect from a Production session?

You can expect to have a dedicated, experienced and friendly producer ready to help you at any stage of your record creation cycle. The whole point of this service is to assist you with any creative and/or technical decisions and executions you might be struggling with. Think of the producer as the person who will solve any issues or bumps in the road you may be experiencing and will ensure your vision for that song and that record will come to life in every single possible way.

How long does a Production session typically last?

A Production session typically lasts for 45 minutes. During this time, you'll have the producer's undivided attention and dedication to work on getting you to the next stage of production as quickly as possible, whether that is being ready for your next recording session, to audio edit, mix or master your song.

What materials should I provide for a Production session?

This will depend on what you're looking to get done in that particular session: if you're looking for a chords chart or for an arrangement, you can send a demo of your song; if you're looking to edit something, you should send the audio files from the matching recording session; if you're looking for a rought mix, you should send all your files for that song already properly edited and aligned. And so on. But, ultimately, this is also something you can discuss with the producer in advance and make sure you're all set to go.

Can I request specific feedback or focus areas for my Production session?

Yes, absolutely! Feel free to communicate any specific areas of your production that you'd like to focus on during the session. Whether it's refining the arrangement, improving the mix, or enhancing the overall sound quality, you can tailor the session to address your specific needs and help you get to the next stage of your production process as quickly as possible.

What happens after a Production session?

After your Production session, you'll receive the specific materials that pertain to that session's goal, whether that's a chords chart, audio files with a demo of an arrangement, an edited track or group of tracks, a rough mixed stereo file, etc. You are more than welcome to discuss with the producer what you're looking to get out of the session, including the resulting materials.

How does the selection process for Musiversal producers ensure quality sessions?

At Musiversal, we carefully vet and select our producers based on their expertise, experience, and artistic sensibilities. Our producers undergo a rigorous screening process, including evaluations of their musical proficiency, production skills, and ability to work effectively with clients. We prioritize candidates who demonstrate a deep understanding of various musical genres and production techniques, ensuring that our clients receive top-tier guidance and support for their projects.

Can I schedule recurring Production sessions to support my production journey for a given song?

Yes, absolutely! Many of our clients find immense value in scheduling recurring Production sessions to receive support over different aspects of their production work for one single song and continue refining that production over time until the song is mastered and ready for release. Whether you're working on a single project or multiple songs, our producers are here to support your musical journey and help you achieve your production goals with consistency and expertise at any given point.
