Matias' recording experience materializes from the first chord, weaving musical genres seamlessly with the skills of a world-class guitarist.

With 20 years of professional experience, Matias Tozzola is a guitarist from Buenos Aires, who's been playing his beloved instrument since the age of 6. He has earned numerous accolades, including the Boston Guitar Fest 2016 and becoming the solo guitarist for the prestigious National Orchestra of Argentine Music since winning its first prize in 2018. He has performed as a soloist and with various ensembles worldwide, while also producing albums for different projects. He has vast experience recording and playing with artists from diverse musical genres, some of whom received Latin Grammy nominations.

In addition to his performances and studio work, Matias has composed and recorded music for cinema and theater, recently collaborating with Gustavo Santaolalla on the soundtrack for the documentary "Norita." Throughout his career, Matias has had the honor of sharing the stage and different projects with internationally renowned artists such as Jaques Morelembaum, Hugo Fattoruso, Lila Downs, Terry Riley, and many others.

Matias's deep passion for all forms of music and his love for both the acoustic and electric guitars have led him to take part in projects spanning from Latin-American genres to jazz, rock, pop and classical music. Always driven by a desire for sonic experimentation and technical refinement, he continues to explore new musical territories including different instruments such as Ronroco, Charango, Mandolin, Cavaquinho, Cuatro, among others.

He's equally comfortable working with chords charts, lead sheets or scores and your song's audio guides.

Matias is one hell of a guitarist, I mean, he's like a wild beast on that guitar! And the coolest part is, he's got that Tango and Latin American vibe just flowing through his fingers, man! It's like magic, you know? His skills are mind-blowing, and the way he blends those spicy Tango and Latin beats into his music is just mind-blowing!

Matias has the ability to understand not only the language of a film director, but also that of the scene, always committed to the essence of what is sought. A truly wonderful artist.
