Alejandro Grullon

This piece was developed as a co-production collaboration between the projects, with ALEPUJI responsible for the programming, keyboards, percussion, vocals, and sound design, demonstrating great skill in implementing contemporary technologies in Dominican folklore. What stood out in this project was their adaptability and high interpretive capacity, efficiently capturing ideas during the collaborative process, respecting the contributions and essence of the piece while finding ways to enrich the final result with their vision and artistic and production expertise.

I have been working with Alejandro for the last three years. As a sound producer he is very professional, and we have a successful experience working with him in our show soundtrack. PUJI, as we call him, composed a song that represents our style, and has become a symbol of our expression of cultural content in general. In that case, we requested him to create a song inspired by several tracks from The Beatles, the Beach Boys and the Rolling Stones and the result speaks for itself. I personally admire PUJI's musical culture and his ability to incorporate different sources and trends to his artistic grounds.
