Beyond Recording: The Full Production Journey

What makes the Musiversal membership different from a simple session booking platform is the scope of what's included alongside the recording sessions. The membership covers the full arc of making a professional track – from the first idea to the final master.

Pre-Production

  • Meet & Greet: An introduction to the platform and individual musicians. Good for new members who want to understand the workflow before booking their first recording session.
A Meet & Greet session lets you connect with a musician before you record – talk through the track, share your vision, hear how they interpret it, and explore ideas together. Because sessions are unlimited, that conversation costs nothing extra.
  • Production Kickstart: A structured session to develop your project concept, get guidance on next steps, and build a clear plan for your production. Useful if you have an idea but aren't sure how to approach the arrangement or instrumentation.
  • Live Arrangement: Work live with a professional arranger to map out exactly what each instrument will play before you record. Going into your recording sessions with a clear arrangement means less time correcting, more time capturing.
  • Session Materials Creation: Send your song and Musiversal will produce professional chord charts, lead sheets, and transcriptions ready to use in your recording sessions. No music theory knowledge required.
  • Transcription: Turn your melodies into professional sheet music.
  • Songwriting (co-writing): Develop melodies, lyrics, and structure in real time with a professional songwriter.
  • Songwriting (feedback): Get expert notes on your existing lyrics and melodies.

Post-Production

  • Audio Editing: Full technical editing included: comping (combining the best parts of multiple takes), pitch tuning, and time alignment. The complete scope, handled by a professional engineer.
  • Quick Mix: A 35–45 minute live mixing session with a professional engineer covering balancing, EQ, and compression. Included in the membership, bookable unlimited times, and sufficient for release for many members and genres. Deliverables are provided at the end of the session.
  • Mix Feedback: Professional notes on your mix at any stage of the process. Specific, actionable, and included in the membership.
  • Mastering: Release-ready stereo mastering is included in the membership. No extra cost, no separate queue.

Learning and Workflow

  • DAW Support: Dedicated sessions for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Reaper, GarageBand, and Luna. Get your setup optimized and your workflow unblocked.
  • Home Vocal Recording Tips: Guidance on mic placement, gain staging, and getting the best performance from a home setup before your vocal session.

Promotion

  • Music Marketing Advice: Expert guidance on release strategy, distribution, and how to reach your audience once the music is finished.
  • Cover Design: A professional graphic designer delivers a release-ready digital cover for your single, EP, or album.
  • Short-Form Video Editing: Polished short-form video content (60 seconds or less) for social media promotion.

The One Thing Not Included: Full Mix

Every service listed above is included in the flat $249/month membership – with one exception.

  • Full Mix is a premium mixing service where a professional engineer dedicates a full day to a single track. It costs $249 per session and is the only add-on to the membership.

Quick Mix is the right choice for most productions – it's fast, collaborative, and release-ready across genres. Full Mix is for tracks that need a full-day level of depth and refinement.

Who Gets the Most Out of Musiversal?

The membership works best for producers and artists who are actively making music – people who want to move fast without compromising on quality, and who understand that the best recordings happen in collaboration, not isolation. If you want to be in the room with a world-class musician, hear the take as it happens, and shape the performance in real time rather than waiting days for files that almost get it right – this is built for you.

  • Independent producers who want real instruments on their tracks but can't justify the cost of a traditional studio or per-session marketplace fees. The unlimited model changes the economics completely – you can experiment freely without a financial penalty for exploring.
  • Singer-songwriters who need professional recordings but don't have a network of session musicians. The roster, the audition process, and the live session format do the work that would otherwise require years of industry connections.
  • Artists finishing their first serious project – an EP, an album, a single they actually want to release. The full-production scope of the membership means you don't need to find separate services for arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering. It's all in one place.
  • Prolific creators who have ideas faster than they can execute them. The concurrent booking system and unlimited session model mean output is limited by your ideas, not by the platform.

Pricing: What Does $249/Month Actually Get You?

A single session with a session musician on a freelance marketplace typically runs $150–$300. One track, one take, one invoice – before any revisions.

At $249/month, a Musiversal membership covers unlimited sessions across recording, mixing, mastering, editing, arrangement, songwriting, and production support. The math becomes clear quickly: the membership pays for itself after one or two sessions, and everything after that is production you wouldn't have been able to afford on a per-session model.

There are no per-session charges, no surprise invoices, and no add-ons beyond the optional Full Mix.
