Take your music to the next level with our hand-picked team of in-house professionals
Absolutely! Whether you're just starting out in music production or looking to improve your existing projects, a Production Advice session can provide invaluable guidance and direction. Our professional producers offer expertise across various genres and styles, helping you navigate the complexities of music production and make informed decisions to elevate your songs.
During a Production Advice session, you'll receive personalized feedback and recommendations from a seasoned producer. They'll help you kickstart your production process, suggest instruments and arrangements, offer insights on song structure, assist with tempo selection, and provide advanced tips for tracking and production techniques. Additionally, you'll gain valuable insights into how our recording sessions work, the role of Pre-Production sessions, and the significance of materials in shaping your Musiversal Studio experience.
A Production Advice session typically lasts for 45 minutes. During this time, you'll have the producer's undivided attention to discuss your song, receive feedback, and explore production strategies tailored to your musical vision and goals.
For a productive session, we recommend providing a link with a reference for your song to convey your creative vision effectively. Additionally, any recordings you have of your song, such as a DAW session file, rehearsal room recordings, band recordings, or full recordings, can offer valuable context. Written materials like lyrics, chord charts, and scores are optional but can further enhance the discussion and understanding of your project.
At Musiversal, we carefully vet and select our producers based on their expertise, experience, and artistic sensibilities. Our producers undergo a rigorous screening process, including evaluations of their musical proficiency, production skills, and ability to work effectively with clients. We prioritize candidates who demonstrate a deep understanding of various musical genres and production techniques, ensuring that our clients receive top-tier guidance and support for their projects.
Yes, absolutely! Many of our clients find value in scheduling recurring Production Advice sessions to track their progress, receive ongoing feedback, and continue refining their productions over time. Whether you're working on a single project or multiple songs, our producers are here to support your musical journey and help you achieve your production goals with consistency and expertise.
Yes, absolutely! Feel free to communicate any specific areas of your production that you'd like to focus on during the session. Whether it's refining the arrangement, improving the mix, or enhancing the overall sound quality, you can tailor the session to address your specific needs and objectives as a producer.
After your Production Advice session, you'll receive personalized feedback and recommendations from the producer to help guide your production process moving forward. While there are no resulting materials delivered after the session, we encourage you to take notes during or after the session to reference as you continue working on your song.
Pre-Production sessions are designed to help you prepare for your recording sessions by creating the materials you’ll need for recording sessions with professional musicians. These sessions provide an opportunity to get industry-standard materials for your compositions, ensuring they're production-ready before entering the studio. Pre-Production sessions complement Production Advice by laying the groundwork for successful recording sessions and optimizing the efficiency and quality of your productions. Our musicians always prefer working with professionally produced materials, so starting off with Pre-Production is the best starting point to ensure a seamless production throughout your journey.
While Production Advice primarily focuses on the pre-production aspects of music production, our producers may offer some general advice or recommendations regarding mixing and mastering techniques. However, for more comprehensive mixing and mastering services, we recommend booking dedicated Post-Production sessions, where our experienced engineers can polish and refine your recordings to achieve professional-quality results, whilst giving you expert advice during the livestream components of those services.
Musiversal's Unlimited subscription offers users unlimited sessions with our roster of talented session musicians, producers, audio engineers and experts, for a flat monthly fee of $199 per month. You can schedule up to 4 sessions at any given time.
